I recommend making reservations as Baldamar is a popular place. The ambience is elegant yet modern, comfortable with seating in a dining room, bar or patio. The patio seating has large umbrellas for shade. We started off with two bourbon cocktails and the Bread is Life. Omg look at the flaky salt on that bread. It was SO good. The honey jalapeño butter was perfectly sweet and spicy. The strawberry basil butter was balanced and addicting. The chimichurri was our least favorite but still good. For dinner, my partner and I shared the watermelon salad, the 12oz prime filet mignon and roasted cauli. The salad was fresh and flavorful, would absolutely order again. The cauliflower had a flavorful seasoning but was dry. It really needed more of a cook or ideally a sauce. We ordered the filet medium (I know I'm the problem.. my partner prefers medium rare) and it came out rare. We didn't send it back but I know if we had mentioned it our server would have made it right. The béarnaise that comes with the filet is bland. I wish there was a Demi option as an upgrade. While our steak wasn't cooked to our preference and the cauliflower was lackluster, I still give this restaurant 5 stars for the experience and service. The chocolate cake was very rich and could use something to cut the cocoa like ice cream or a whipped bourbon cream. Even sharing, we had leftovers to take home so the serving sizes are great. I love you Baldamar, I'll be back!

Baldamar has never disappointed! The space itself is beautiful! Not your typical Steakhouse I have only ever sat in the bar area, which has generous booths including the actual bar! Whatever you do, get their Old Fashioned Theirs is great! I have never had a bad experience with wait staff here either! Next, start with their Bread is Life with their house butters!! Not pictured because they were gobbled up so fast! Dry Spice Wings are also tasty and "fried hard" for those that prefer! (IYKYK) and those were also gobbled up prior to pictures! Lobster Mac is also a good option but partner thought it was a bit salty. Tried the hangar steak chimichurri this time and it was sooo good!! Lastly, but not least GET the 50 shades of chocolate cake!! Especially if it's your birthday or date night! And even if you think you don't like chocolate! Trust and believe! And add the vanilla bean ice cream! It's always busy and packed here so make sure you have reservations!

Pre Mother's Day lunch on Saturday. This way we could choose from the entire menu and beat the crowds. We started off with a few too many appetizers, apparently we were very hungry. We ordered - Bread is Life, Meatballs, Truffle Fries. Bread was outstanding, the meatballs were so good and the Truffle fries were fine but the others held my attention. I ordered the special which was a steak, with chimichurri sauce served on a toasted roll. It was perfectly cooked, the chimichurri was fantastic and the steak juices and chimichurri made that roll succulent with flavors. Everyone enjoyed their meals, several to go boxes were carried out and service was excellent as always. Baldamar always delivers but the bill will demonstrate you get what you pay for.

This spot is a mist for any date night or celebrations. The restaurant is decorated so beautifully and has a dark low lit ambiance for dinner. We started our meal with bread is life and they even gave me a gluten free roll so I could try all the butters and dips. We got the chilled lobster roll, so amazing and loaded with lobster! I got the filet and the potatoes, can't decide which potatoes were my favorite! We also got the burger and fries both of which were top notch! I loved the wine selection and my friends really enjoyed their old fashions, so much so, we had a couple of rounds! Put this on your list of places to go for dinner! I hear they have a great brunch, so I will be back to try that for sure! Great service, great food and great quality!

One of our places for yummy brunch and great happy hour. Vibes & Aesthetics Baldamar is a casual (but can be semi-formal if you want) place to eat. It has great aesthetics and modern features. It's moody but not too dark. Food We especially love their lobster rolls during happy hour. However, my photos are of the Sunday Brunch. It is about $60/person. Great quality brunch! I absolutely love their cinnamon and carmel rolls. It's largely the reason I come here! Anything you like for brunch they have it: savory and sweet. Good lunch options, too. My husband tried their pasta bar. It was good! I do think it's very expensive for brunch, so we come sparingly. Service Fantastic. We were told how brunch works and were well taken care of.

This has quickly become one of my favorite food destination spots in the city! They do lunch, dinner, happy hour, and brunch all exceptionally well! I can easily book a reservation online at any time and there is always great availability. My favorite part about this place is the excellent service. I have been here a few times now, and I always receive high, attentive treatment. You will want for nothing as these servers are clearly skilled at their craft. They are also very kind and personable, and I have often ended up having great conversations with my waiter. The food is impeccable and my pictures do it no justice. I have had brunch, lunch, dinner and happy hour here multiple times. I find all the menus filled with a great amount of delicious offerings. I tried multiple dishes by now and I have loved all of them! Another great thing I love about this place is the upscale decor, clean bathrooms, dim lighting, and just peaceful and inviting atmosphere. I couldn't ask for more when it comes to a complete dining experience. I love it here and now frequent often!

Went here for restaurant week 2024 Place was packed when we arrived as a weekend and were told might be a bit of a wait even though we had reservations, seated maybe 15 mins later Server was nice ,definitely trying to upsell the expensive wines!! So I opted for a Blackberry Collins instead. Little too harsh flavored for me prob would not order again and I love gin. Hubby had a Cabernet wine was good The server did warn us that our food would be smaller portions if we did the restaurant week menu- which was fine for us ,so glad she pre mentioned it though Food- came out slower than normal I think as a at night was crazy busy and they were having their regular menu plus restaurant week Our 3 course dinner was their house salad- 7/10 good flavor with the bacon bits 7oz filet mignon served with bernaise sauce- 9/10 Definitely the highlight of our meal-cooked to perfection medium. We did order their mashed potatoes as a side coz I can't just eat a piece of meat by itself- I have to have a veggie at least. These were also delicious but extra $ Dessert- I had their Tiramisu 5/10 too soggy and not as tasty as others I've had Hubby had the chocolate cheesecake-5/10 average Overall I would not do their restaurant week menu again as it did end up being more expensive than you would think as we added alcohol and the side dish and the tax was high I would like to come back here for their regular menu I have heard good things about their weekend brunches too so will add this to my list Ambiance- the main dining room is loud but decor is nice , we were seated on the more quiet dining area and it just felt kinda flat in there - they need to add a fireplace or something for more ambiance

Elegant, classy and date-worthy! Experience great service, delicious steaks and upscale decor abound. The gigantic double doors welcomed us into the restaurant with masculine charm. I was hungry for a burger but opted for a steak because the decor was so fancy, I didn't feel right eating food with my bare hands. Here's what we ate: Steak Frites (5/5) Steak was perfectly prepared. Pan Seared Salmon (4/5) good but not great. House & Caesar Side Salads (3/5) they were ok, but nothing special. Tiramisu (3/5) was ok, but did not taste so fresh Chocolate Cheesecake (2/5) I would skip this dessert next time Ambiance was (5/5) decor was outstanding and made me feel so classy and comfortable.
